Free Meals to Veterans at Applebee’s on Veteran’s day 2010

Today is November 11 – Veteran’s Day.  Happy Veteran’s Day!

applebees veterans dayApplebee’s Grill and Bar is honoring our veterans with free lunch and dinner at all of their restaurants on the Veteran’s Day 2010.   Last year, Applebees served over a million free meals to the veterans on the Veteran’s day.  Applebee’s thanks and shows support to commemorate the Veterans as well as active-duty military members of the country, by offering free meals on the veteran’s day.

So, if you are a veteran, you should take advantage of this Applebee’s deal for the Vets.  The good news is that – in order to serve all veterans who come by for a meal, Appleebee’s has planned to keep its restaurants open till midnight or beyond.  This year, Applebee’s Special Veterans Day 2010 Menu includes the following dishes:

Veteran’s Day Menu at Applebees

7 oz House Sirloin
Savory and juicy traditional cut served with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes

Bacon Cheeseburger,
Hearty burger on a toasted bakery bun with crispy Applewood smoked bacon and Cheddar cheese, served with tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles.

Fiesta Lime Chicken,
Grilled chicken dipped in peppy lime sauce, topped with Jack-cheddar and Mexi-ranch.

Double Crunch Shrimp
A platter full of of juicy, deicious shrimp fried perfectly with with crispy bread crumb coating, served with coleslaw, french fries, and cocktail sauce

Three Cheese Chicken Penne
A rich mix of grilled chicken, Penne Pasta and Alfredo Sauce topped with Parmesan, Provolone and Mozzarella cheeses.

Chicken Tenders Platter
Succulent chicken tenders fried to perfection with special seasonings

Oriental Chicken Salad
Fresh Oriental veggies topped with crispy fried chicken tenders, crispy noodles, toasted almonds – tossed in a delicious Asian vinaigrette.
