Applebee’s revitalizes 2 for $20 menu with two new entrees

Applebee’s is a popular place for dining out because of its diverse menu and wallet-friendly prices.  With around 2,000 restaurants in 49 states in the US, 15 other countries and one U.S. territory, Applebee’s provides a welcoming environment for diners of all ages.

According to Chef Shannon Johnson, an Applebee’s executive director, their guests “want great food at a great value.”  In keeping with this demand, Applebee’s has revitalized its 2 for $20 menu by adding two new additions to the entrees in this meal category.

Applebee’s 2 for $20 Menu – What’s new?

Applebee’s 2 for $20 menu offers guests the option of choosing one appetizer and two entrees or full size meals from a list of select items.  The entrees include items like pasta, salad, steak and chicken dishes.  The 2 for $20 menu offers great combinations for an attractive price.  The two new entrees – Bruschetta Chicken and Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara are enriched with Italian Flavors.

Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara: This comprises a juicy grilled chicken breast that is served over a bed of fettuccine with red peppers, fresh mushrooms, bacon, peas, grape, onions, tomatoes and Applebee’s delicious carbonara sauce.  The topping is shredded Parmesan cheese and the dish is served along with toasted garlic bread.

Bruschetta Chicken: This entrée has a grilled chicken breast that has been seasoned with parsley, bruschetta, and a mix of Italian cheeses all piled on top of fried onions, red and green peppers, and crispy red potatoes, topped with a blend of Bolognese sauce and scampi sauce.

So now, with the new entrees added to the menu, diners opting for the 2 for $20 menu can choose one appetizer from the following list:

• Boneless Wings - lightly breaded and served with a sauce of your choice;
• Spinach & Artichoke Dip – melted cheeses, spinach and artichokes, with tortilla chips and lime salsa as a dip;
• Spicy Queso Blanco or Potato Twisters – served with spicy Pco de Gallo;
• Mozzarella Sticks – served with delicious marinara sauce;
• Crunchy Onion Rings coated with bread crumbs.

And in addition, they can choose any two of the following entrees:

• NEW Bruschetta Chicken
• NEW Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara
• Oriental Chicken Salad – Chicken and Asian greens tossed with almonds and an Oriental vinegar salad dressing
• Fiesta Lime Chicken – Topped with Jack-cheddar cheese and Mexi-ranch dressing
• Three Cheese Chicken Penne – Mozzarella, Provolone, and Parmesan on penne pasta tossed with chicken, bruschetta, and Alfredo sauce.
• 7 oz. House Sirloin - Served with either baked potato or garlic mashed potatoes
• Chicken Tenders Basket – Served along with cole slaw and fries
• Riblet Basket - Served with fries and cole slaw.
